Features
- Player and NPC Tackling: Tackle other players or nearby NPCs with proper handling for each target type.
- Synchronized Tackle Animations: Optional coordinated animations for both the tackler and target, providing a more natural and immersive tackle sequence.
- Animation or Ragdoll Mode: Configure the resource to use the full tackle animation system or a simpler ragdoll-based tackle.
- NPC Arrest Reactions: NPCs can transition into randomized busted/arrest-style animations after being successfully tackled when tackle animations are enabled.
- Player Ragdoll Reactions: Tackled players transition naturally into ragdoll after the tackle sequence instead of being left permanently attached or locked into an animation.
- Early Tackle Release: The tackler can use the configured release control to safely end an active tackle before the sequence finishes.
- Safe State Cleanup: Built-in safeguards clear tackle animations, attachments, frozen states, movement restrictions, and temporary tackle states when a tackle finishes or is cancelled.
- Spam Prevention: Configurable cooldowns prevent players from repeatedly spamming tackles within a short period.
- Customizable Controls: Players can configure their preferred tackle key through the included configuration interface.
- Press or Hold Controls: Choose between pressing the tackle key once or requiring the player to hold it for a configurable amount of time.
- Modern Bind Configuration NUI: Includes an easy-to-use in-game interface for configuring tackle controls, activation behavior, hold duration, notification position, and other user preferences.
- Preview and Reset Options: The configuration interface includes notification previews, bind clearing, default restoration, Save, and Cancel controls.
- Configurable Notifications: Adjust where tackle-related notifications are displayed according to player preference.
- Clear Configuration File: The included
config.luais organized into clearly documented common and advanced settings, making server-side customization straightforward. - Performance: Tackle-specific processing and controls are only used when required rather than unnecessarily running complex logic at all times.
- Standalone: Designed to work without requiring a specific roleplay framework.
Tackle Behavior
- With tackle animations enabled: The tackler and target perform the synchronized tackle sequence. Tackled players transition into ragdoll afterward, while NPCs can use configured busted animations.
- With tackle animations disabled: The resource uses the configured ragdoll-based behavior instead of playing the complete tackle animation sequence.
